What's this all about?

At DroneTours.io, we’ve fallen in love with the look and flexibility that First Person View (FPV) drones can provide. Never before have we been able to fly through gaps, mere inches from objects in the scene, as well as cover large distances in a single shot. We truly believe there is no better technology for showing off the experience of being in a 3D space indoors and out.

What's the process like?

First, lets get in touch. We’ll get an idea of what your goals are and how DroneTours.io can help you exceed those goals. We will be straight forward with our pricing structures, and find a way for you to stay within budget. We will also involve you in the creative process from flight planning all the way to final edits.

How long is this thing gonna take?

Typical projects range from days to weeks, depending on your schedule, flight constraints, as well as what deliverables you are looking for. We don’t want to make you wait once you’ve decided what you want.

Can I have it done today?

For easier kinds of shoot like residential and commercial real-estate, we can arrange a same-day flight and a next day delivery. We know how fast these markets move, and we are able to make those deadlines with you.

Where can you fly?'

We fly anywhere from seaside venues to the high peaks of the Rocky Mountains, small homes to large outdoor spaces. If you are in controlled airspace, we can almost always get a waiver to do your flight, and will do our best to find a way to make it happen.

How far out should I schedule this?

We can set up a flight the same day, or arrange one a little further down the road. For complex shoots involving models and a lot of moving pieces, it takes a bit more time and planning. For an empty house or building, it can be done with short notice.

Is this dangerous?

At DroneTours.io we aren’t willing to sacrifice safety for anything. We have a wide variety of drones that we use for being in close proximity to models that have full propeller protection and weigh almost nothing. Additionally, we carry liability insurance in order to provide peace of mind for you, and can always provide a certificate of insurance with you listed as additionally insured before we even show up to fly.

I have photos already, why fly a drone?

This isn’t your nephew’s drone company. We fly through tight spaces and in close proximity to pieces of your space to creative an immersive visual experience that tells the true story of your space.

What gives you the right?

This is America isn’t it?

No but really, are you allowed to do this?

We’ve been flying drones for over 10 years now, building them from spare parts, and finding ways to get unique imagery from them. We’ve learned a lot along the way, and bring experience as a photographer and engineer to do this. Our pilots are part 107 certified drone pilots through the FAA, and follow all airspace restrictions during all flights.
